Success for Bromsgrove at European Youth Parliament

Bromsgrove School European Youth ParliamentA team of eight Lower Sixth pupils from Bromsgrove School have qualified for a national debating final.

The pupils debated in the Midlands’ Sessions of the European Youth Parliament in the majestic surroundings of Birmingham Council House. They demonstrated incredible teamwork and support for each other throughout the day, together with a willingness to engage with new ideas, the ability to debate in four languages and an impressive grasp of the issues confronting Europe today. They emerged as worthy winners and go forward to the National Finals in Liverpool at the start of July.

Well done to Tim Buckley (aged 16), Maxime Cox (17), Gareth Evans (17), James Gillick (16), Jamie Hey (17), India Morris (17), Jake Perryman (16) and Daria Solomatina (17).
