Year 6 girls from Burgess Hill School for Girls finished first place in a schools’ sailing match at Ardingly Reservoir.
The event was the second match of the year and involved twenty-four girls and boys from Ardingly College, Hurstpierpoint College and Burgess Hill School for Girls.
The Burgess Hill team, made up of Year 6 girls, took part in three races and finished as the overall winners.
The girls involved were: Imogen Fuller, Elizabeth Geraghty, Phoebe Kinsman, Tabetha van der Lande, Olivia Muston, Victoria Nathan-Maister and Grace Paterson.
Junior School P.E. teacher, Miss Petty said, “All the participants took part with real enthusiasm and a special mention goes to Grace Paterson and Tabetha van der Lande for some exceptional sailing.”
