A Year 11 student at Plymouth College has won the national JM Rose Bowl competition.
Gemma Kerr, representing Plymouth, travelled to Wellingborough for the English League Cup Finals. She was joined by her partner, Rachel Trevorrow, for the doubles competition.
The duo topped their group, which put them in the running for the 1st or 2nd place playoff.
They met Leicester in the final, who were the favourites to win and were ranked higher than the duo.
Gemma and Rachel beat the lady ranked 20th and won the doubles match, securing them the title.
