Taunton Preparatory School’s cricket teams have won their Somerset School’s County Cup semi-final ties.

The U11s beat Millfield Preparatory School by 14 runs, before beating King’s Hall to secure their place in the Regional Finals. On a winning streak, they then defeated county teams from Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Bristol/Bath to become Regional Champions.

The U12s faced King’s Hall in the County semi-finals, with Fin Robertson (68) and Kian Roberts’ (55 not out) partnership of 106 securing the win.

The U13s hosted Queen’s College in the county semi-final and after a strong start from Taylor Flitton and Kian Roberts, Ollie Heard (30 not out) and Findlay Robertson (44 not out) earned Taunton Prep a win with 7 overs to spare.

Shaun Winsor commented: “I’m so proud of all of our young cricketers for some outstanding performances. They represented the school brilliantly and I’m confident they’ve got what it takes to achieve success in future competitions.”
