The Leys Under-14s Boys Hockey team have won the County Cup, winning all their group matches before beating local rivals The Perse School in the final. They were a goal down with eight minutes to play but clinched a 2-1 win.
The team, captained by Henry Blunt, convincingly beat Thomas Deacon Academy, Saffron Walden High School and Wisbech Grammar school on their way to the final.
They scored a total of 16 goals and conceded just one, with Harry Jarman scoring seven goals on his 14th birthday.
Team coach Damien Rigden (left of picture with the winning team) said: "The boys played the entire tournament with passion, commitment and great sportsmanship."
He added that Fergus Learoyd and Finn Carmichael had performed particularly well throughout the tournament.
