Inspirational young people were praised for their incredible achievements at the Western Gazette's inaugural Young Park school entreprenaurStars Awards evening held at Hazelbury Mill.

The Park School was thrilled that Robert Howes and Marcus Fudge were nominated and won the Young Entrepreneur category for their own enterprise, SkillZNDrillZ, which provides sporting activities for children of all abilities outside school time.

They set up their business to give children the opportunity to: 'Get Fit, Make Friends and Have Fun,' during the school holidays and in after school clubs, as part of The Park School's Young Enterprise qualification, which they started in 2010.

Since the summer of 2011 they have been running holiday clubs teaching young people the skills needed in a variety of sports.

They have worked hard to promote their business, setting up their own website and promoting their business by going into local schools to deliver assemblies and holding competitions in the Quedam Shopping Centre in Yeovil to make people aware of their business.

Robert and Marcus have raised several £100 pounds for charity and have supported the local charity C-R-Y, which aims to raise awareness of sudden death syndrome in young people.

Apart from this latest accolade Robert and Marcus were presented with the Best Team Award at the South West Area Young Enterprise Competition in Bristol last summer. We hope their company continues to go from strength to strength.
