Congratulations to Max Orr and Zac Puckey who have been selected for the Independent Schools Rugby Football Royal Hospital School RugbyClub 'Lambs Tour' to Toulouse in April.

Their noticeable performance at the National trials held at The Close at Rugby School has gained Max a place in the U11s and Zac in the U13s on the tour.

The Independent Schools Rugby Football Club known as ‘The Lambs’ was set up in 2006 to provide representative rugby opportunities for talented young players.

It culminates in the players potentially playing for the ‘Lambs XV’ more fully known as the English Independent Schools XV.

Both boys will travel to Toulouse in April, where they will be part of the national teams in their respective age groups, training with their French contemporaries, and playing against pupils of equal standard during the tournament.

Paul Hardman, Director of Sport, said "We wish the boys all the best for their up-coming representative tour. This is great for the School as we continue with our tradition of supplying players of this quality to the Lambs."

The Royal Hospital School is a co-educational boarding and day school for 11 to 18 years olds set in 200 acres of Suffolk countryside overlooking the River Stour.www.royalhospitalschool.org
