Burgess Hill School for Girls’ Athletics teams all finished with top three positions in the Invitational Hurst Athletics 
Competition and were the only school to do so.
Burgess Hill School were presented with the overall award for the first time after the Junior, Intermediate and Senior teams performed consistently well in both the track and field events.
The Junior team dominated all their events and won their title with 87 points, five points clear of Cranleigh in second.
The Intermediate team worked hard and finished in third place with 72 points. The Senior team stepped up to the occasion and finished a creditable second place with 79 points.
Eight schools competed in the competition and Burgess Hill School finished with an impressive 238 points, four points clear of Brighton College.
