MORE than 45 of the world’s top educational institutions showcased their offering at Taunton School. 
They attended the school’s second American Universities Fair and more than 250 students from over 50 schools across the South West joined them.
Taunton School head of careers David Hawkins, who organised the event, said: “The huge attendance shows how much interest there is in studying abroad.
“Students came from Somerset, Devon, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wales and even the Midlands to attend what has become the UK’s second largest American Universities Fair.
“Taunton School’s students also came out in force, with many seeing what options were available to them at universities such as Harvard, Northeastern University in Boston and John Cabot University in Rome, all places from where our Upper Sixth students have gained offers this year.
“We are proud of our work at Taunton School to support students in our community in this way, by bringing some of the world’s finest institutions to Taunton, by offering SAT preparation programmes on our campus and by raising the profile of Taunton and Somerset in global higher education.”
To follow on from the fair, ARBORBRIDGE are presenting an Intensive SAT Workshop at Taunton School from Thursday, October 24th to Sunday, October 27th.
