Felsted Preparatory School are off to the Big Bang National Finals for the third year in a row after their triumph at the Regional Science and Engineering Competition in Newmarket.
Out of 80 projects entered in the Eastern Region, Yr 8s Aimee Schilder and Tabitha Fox were the winners of the Science and Engineering prize with their project ‘Spicing up a Space Suit’. The girls also claimed the Chemistry prize, whilst fellow Yr 8s Gus Latham and Harry Prideaux were awarded the Regional prize in Maths and Science for their project, ‘The Perfect Penalty.’
