On Wednesday 30th January, our Chemistry A-Level students went to the University of Nottingham for a series of 
lectures to further enhance the Chemistry knowledge.
With the highlight of the trip being the spectacular thunder and lighting demonstration, it was also very useful for the students to attend lectures to learn about the importance of science in everyday life, the history behind their outreach project, the different paths and routes you can take to become a chemist and deciding whether Nanoscience is a friend or foe! The group also took part in a fun treasure hunt looking for clues in the building.
Overall it was a great day and the students learnt a lot that they can now incorporate into their Summer examinations.
