Wellington_School_Exchange_StudentsThree Australian exchange students leave the UK this week after 7 weeks studying at Wellington School.

Isabelle Caltreaux, Emily Baker and Maddison Watson from St Hilda’s high School on Australia’s beautiful Gold Coast have been experiencing English life; attending lessons and enjoying being part of the rich community at Wellington School.  Isabelle and Maddison were paired up with Wellington pupils Maria Wall and Sophie Manning, and were welcomed into their families and their homes, whilst Emily was teamed with boarder Annabelle Heaven-Ince and enjoyed the full boarding experience.

Our globe-trotting Wellington School pupils will travel to the Gold Coast on July 8th, to experience Australian education.  They will attend school and experience the differences between and English and Australian lifestyle.

“We have been fortunate to have had these vibrant and enthusiastic exchange students this term, who were such great ambassadors for St Hilda’s” commented Martin Reader, Headmaster of Wellington School.  “It has been enriching for all our current pupils and a tremendous opportunity for these girls to experience such different lifestyles and environments.”
