Autumn Walk for The Reception Children at Wellington Prep School

Wellington Prep School Autumn Walk Leaves Reception

Pupils from Wellington Prep School enjoyed the colours and smells of autumn when they came back to school on Wednesday.

Both reception classes went on a lovely nature walk around the beautiful school grounds looking for leaves, berries, bugs and other signs of autumn.

Wellington Prep School Autumn Walk LeavesThis year, we have two reception classes, led by experienced teachers Matt Hoile and Jan Wheller.

“Our excellent teaching team ensures that all children are happy and stimulated in our specially designed facilities,” commented Adam Gibson, Headmaster of Wellington Prep School.

“Creativity and imaginative play are essential to every child’s growth. In Reception, we have a practical approach to learning and each child’s development is closely monitored and carefully extended in small groups. All our Early Years children receive specialist teaching in ICT and Music, and Reception children love their weekly Forest School sessions, ” added Mr Gibson.

The children certainly enjoyed their exploration and found many beautiful leaves.
