Wellington School is proud of the achievements of two brothers who have a special gift for languages.

 

Angus MacAuley took the more rigorous iGCSE German at the end of Year 9 and got an A*. He then took German AS at the end of Year 11 and was delighted to have achieved a high A grade.

 

His younger brother Ben MacAuley, (now aged 14)took German GCSE at the end of Year 7, when he was 12 and got an A grade.

 

“We are delighted with the results of these talented brothers who show an exceptional aptitude for the German language” commented Fiona Hobday, German Co-ordinator at Wellington School. “We have a strong Modern Foreign Languages department at the school and it is rewarding when pupils achieve so highly, especially when the exams are taken so much earlier than usual.

 

Angus is delighted to have also got A*s in French and Spanish in his GCSEs today!

 

Angus and Ben live in Wellington and will be continuing their studies at Wellington School.
