Wellington School pupils today celebrated an impressive set of GCSE results. Their hard work, dedication and resilience during what have been a challenging few years has seen them achieve some excellent grades, with results comparing very favourably with the last time examinations were taken in 2019.

11 students achieved 6 or more of the top grade 9 award, and 14 students achieved 8 or more grades 9-8. Nicole achieved an exceptional 9 grade 9s and 1 grade 8, whilst Silvie and Madalyn both achieved an impressive 8 grade 9s. All three students also achieved a grade A in the challenging Additional Mathematics qualification.

Headmaster Eugene du Toit commented: “we are so proud of our GCSE pupils. They worked tremendously hard last year and their diligence and application have been rewarded. These grades would not have been possible without the outstanding efforts of our teachers, or the support of our pupils’ parents.”
