Two members of staff and a pupil from Wellington School have achieved success at the European Championships.
Year 10 pupil Jarvis Lumb along with Lucy MacAlister, head of biology, and head of economics, Ed Grey, competed against 400 other athletes at the European Biathle and Triathle Championships in Weiden, Germany.
Over two days of multi-sport action, the school’s representatives won an array of medals between them:
U17 Boy’s Triathle: Jarvis Lumb – 10th
U17 Mixed Triathle Relay: Jarvis Lumb – Bronze
Masters Women’s Triathle: Lucy MacAlister – Individual Gold
Masters Men’s Triathle: Ed Grey – 6th, Team Gold
Masters Women’s Biathle: Lucy MacAlister – Individual Silver, Team Gold
