A Wellington School student is heading for the Commonwealth Games this summer. Sixth Form boarder, Alisa Scantlebury has been selected for the Barbados Cricket Association women’s cricket training squad for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Alisa joined Wellington in 2017 to improve her cricket and trains everyday with our outstanding coaches. She is an superb all-rounder, captains the School’s 2nd XI football team (mixed) and also plays in the Girls’ Rugby team which has had an excellent season. Wellington School is extremely proud of the sporting provision for girls, offering a wide variety of training and playing opportunities as well as a pioneering well-being programme.
