West Buckland School choir to perform alongside Tenors Unlimited this weekend at Queen’s Theatre, Barnstaple
Members of the West Buckland School Junior and Senior Choirs will be performing alongside well-known tenor trio Tenors Unlimited this weekend, as part of the group’s 20th anniversary country-side tour.
The performance, at Queen’s Theatre, Barnstaple, will take place on Saturday 7th May and the choir have been practicing hard before their first performance in front of a large paying audience.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the choir whose members age from 9 to 18. Tenors Unlimited have been entertaining audiences all over the world with their repertoire that ranges from popular classics to more modern crooners and pop! they have performed alongside greats such as Sting, Beyonce, Simple Red and Lionel Richie.
Director of Music at West Buckland, Dominic Carter, says this the choir are very excited, “This is enormous for them and they have been practicing so hard. They literally can’t wait!”
