Westbourne School celebrates five years at the top

Westbourne School has been ranked by The Daily Telegraph as the best school in the UK for ‘Smaller Schools Results’.

A third of IB Diploma graduates in 2019 achieved 41+ points at the Penarth-based school, placing them in the elite top 2% worldwide.

The school has also been ranked as the best independent school in the whole of the Cardiff and the Vale region, with 71% of results A*-A.

On average, 90% of graduates have gained entry to Russell Group universities to study competitive courses such as Medicine. The Sixth Form offers an only IB curriculum, ranked 1st for Results by the Sunday Times 2019 Schools Guide, with a long-term point average of 36-38.
