On Wednesday 26 June, a team of Year 13 students and parents will be cycling the length of the UK, from Land’s End Windermere School Just Giving Cycle Challengeto John O’Groats, to raise money and awareness of the Breast Cancer Charity, CoppaFeel!

They will be tackling the 1000 mile journey in a non-stop relay style, travelling throughout the day and night and they aim to complete the ride in under 80 hours.

Despite the looming IB exams in May, training is well under way and for some of the group it is their first introduction to cycling, making it even more of a challenge.

The team hope that with the support of individuals and local businesses, they will be able to raise in excess of £5000.

CoppaFeel! is a charity which raises awareness and money for Breast Cancer prevention. Their patron, Fearne Cotton, has supported the charity since 2011and the charity's co-founder, Maren Hallenga, was exceptionally pleased to hear that our students were getting involved.
