Felsted School Guide Dog AssemblyThe children at Felsted Pre-Preparatory School have been actively making a difference by raising an incredible £2500 for their chosen charity, Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The young Felstedians, staff and parents, organised a summer fete involving fun dog themed activities including pin the tail on the dog and decorating dog shaped biscuits.

The children presented the £2500 cheque to local Guide Dog trainer, Chris and her dog, Jimmy in assembly, where they learned how their money would help make a difference to people’s lives.

Head of Felsted Pre-preparatory School, Mrs Jac Atkins commented; “The afternoon was a roaring success and the children are excited to see the money going towards the training of a new guide dog.”
