A group of Year 1 girls from Burgess Hill School for Girls have all performed above par at Cuckfield Golf Club by 
completing a Junior Golf programme.
Katie Acott, Poppy Collins, Annabel Cordell, Suzie Cordell, Annabelle Heal and Olivia Milton all completed the Cadets section of the Young Masters Golf Junior Golf Programme. Under the coaching of James Verrall, all girls passed with distinction.
The girls spent eight sessions on the Cadets programme learning about the clubs and how to play all the different shots. They also learned the rules and etiquette of the game. Each pupil was given a Member’s File which is their guide to playing the game.
The girls were all presented with their certificates in a school assembly.
