Education at Felsted is exciting, rigorous and demanding. With a curriculum that far exceeds national requirements and offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma in addition to A Levels in the Sixth Form, Felsted is established at the forefront of educational thinking. Sporting excellence

Felsted has a national reputation in many sports including hockey, cricket, rugby, netball and tennis, with many pupils performing at county, regional and national level. Professional coaching, fantastic facilities and top level fixtures supports pupils at every level to succeed.

Music partnership with Junior Guildhall

A unique partnership with the Junior Guildhall School of Music in London allows talented musicians to take advantage of a top music school at the same time as studying at Felsted. With five full time members of music staff and more than 20 visiting instrumental and vocal teachers, pupils have many opportunities to play and perform.

Top level drama and arts

Dance ShowFelsted hosts some of the highest quality drama in the UK, with a theatre that is technically equipped to the standard of a small professional theatre. Large and small productions are performed throughout the school year, with a tour to the USA every two years. With dedicated facilities to study Art as a hobby or part of the curriculum, all forms of art can be studied, from life drawings and paintings to ceramics and textiles.

An international outlook

Felsted is a Global Member of the Round Square Organisation, which gives students access to a network of over 100 schools worldwide to exchange with. International students are limited to a maximum of 20% of the student body, which allows for an excellent cultural mix and combined with opportunities to be involved in Model United Nations and overseas tours, students truly gain an international outlook. Overseas pupils are warmly welcomed with a unique induction course called LEAP, which ensures they settle well and are carefully introduced to English school life. Our highly experienced English as an Additional Language Department works closely with each student to ensure they are reaching their potential in all subjects. Felsted also runs an International Summer School.
