Learning
Students at the International College follow a bespoke curriculum that focuses on academic English, taught by subject teachers with a wealth of experience working with non-native English speakers. Small class sizes (max 12, average 8) ensure that our students receive lots of individual support and have ample opportunity to develop their communication skills. We recognise that it take time for international students to embrace the very interactive way of teaching in the British curriculum, and help our students to adjust to these teaching methods to prepare them for their next level of education in the UK.

Sport and activities
Our students take part in The King’s School’s rich sport and activity programme, meaning that our students integrate with senior school students on the sports pitch, in the choir, and at meals, talks, and events.

Boarding life
We provide the highest level of pastoral care. We recognise that a traditional UK boarding environment takes time for international students to adapt to. Therefore, we explain routines and offer students a supportive and comfortable living environment as they get used to their new life in the UK.

Facilities
The International College has moved into a brand new purpose-built campus, close to the senior school in the heart of historic Canterbury. Students will enjoy a first-rate learning and living environment, including en-suite twin rooms for accommodation. We host modern teaching rooms, music suite with practice rooms, common room and games area, sports facilities, canteen, art studio, drama studio, dance studio and a 350 seat auditorium.
