Wellington School’s first team rugby coach has made his first appearance for England.

Ben Moon, who plays for Exeter Chiefs, had his first run out for the national side in their international match against South Africa last weekend.

Ben coaches the Wellington School 1st XV team and works with aspiring players throughout the School. In addition, coaches from the Bristol Bears also work with our players to provide skills training.

Steffan Jones, director of sport, commented: “We are honoured to have such consummate professionals amongst our coaches. We are committed to providing the very best training to all our sports people across all disciplines and we are pleased to be able to add Ben and the Bristol Bears coaches to that portfolio. Our rugby players are really enjoying the experience that comes with working to such high standards and the calibre of play is constantly developing and being enhanced.

“We are delighted that Ben has won his first England Cap and congratulate him on his success.”
