English is a cornerstone of a Moreton education, developing confident and
articulate public speakers. All overseas students are offered EAL (English as an
Additional Language) and learning support at no extra cost.

Moreton’s culture of continual innovation infuses our pupils with a willingness to
move out of their comfort zones and an eagerness to try something new, preparing
each of our graduates with a life of resilience, curiosity and leadership. Our
extensive co-curricular programme reflects this ethos of innovation and discovery
and is a critical part of what Moreton has to offer. From ecology to Model United
Nations and food and wine appreciation to journalism and dissection, Moreton
caters to a wide range of interests through our many societies and clubs. We
firmly believe that pupils should take advantage of the opportunities offered and
encourage everyone to ‘give it a go’ without fear of failure
Taking advantage of our natural environment, we also offer adventure activities
such as kayaking and canoeing on the canal bordering our grounds and rock
climbing and mountain biking in the Shropshire Hills and Snowdonia National Park.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is always popular and offered at all levels.
